Continuous self development with like-minded dressage trainers who value the basic principles of dressage.
Trainers who value the fundamental principles and correct riding deserve more recognition.
In the past 20 years we’ve seen the focus being shifted from improving the balance to a focus on making a frame.
We see more horses with a flashy front leg, but a hind leg that’s not coming under the body and not taking over the weight.
We see more horses with tension and showing resistance.
This, what I call, ‘modern’ way of training is proving more and more that it’s not beneficial for our horses.
But we need to make a turn around and focus more on the basic principles.
When you teach someone, you have to formulate an action plan in a short time.
With my structured training method you will have a system to easily and quickly determine what needs to be improved and how.
No more doubts about what the right approach might be.
Train your eye and be able to differentiate between the symptoms and the cause of riding problems.
And know what steps to take to solve riding problems all the way up to Grand Prix Level.
Get support from other dressage trainers. Share your challenges and casestudies and learn from each other.
We often get questions from dressage riders if we know any trainers with the same philosophy in their area.
That’s why we’re dedicating a special page to list all the trainers from the Trainer’s Club.
There’s one condition to guarantee quality: you have to pass the online exam you’ll get after being a member for one year.
Over the years, Rien has trained many horses and riders to the highest level with an honest and logical training method, based on classical principles.
Rien has been the national team coach of Finland and the Netherlands. And trains students from all over the world.
As a rider, Rien has been a member of the Dutch dressage team and has participated in several international Championships, like the World Championship and European Championships.
We’ll be looking at different casestudies from all levels and every time you’ll be asked to formulate your advice.
What is the cause of the problem? Are the fundamentals established? How is the balance? What needs to be improved first and how?
I’ll then share my advice so you can check if we’re on the same page.
*** Gold members are allowed to send in videos of their own students as casestudies. ***
Every month an online workshop is given by an expert from a different field.
Consider didactics, mental skills, management, veterinary aspects, etc.
All the up-to-date knowledge you need as a top trainer!
Once you have been a member for a year, you will receive an online test. If you pass that test, you will be placed on the special trainer page.
Dressage riders can use this page to find a suitable trainer in their area.
You’ll get access to my entire training program. Plus we’ll be adding new content on a regular basis.
